Re: Mom's of babies 6-8 months old - schedule
Well my DD is closer to 9 months, but I wanted to say that I'm jealous that you get to snuggle in bed! I tried that and all she wants to do it crawl around it so I wind up chasing her so she doesn't fall off. But, here's my schedule
6:30 wake and bottle
play til 8ish, then breakfast
nap at 9 til 10:30/11ish
lunch at 11:30 (yogurt)
bottle at 1
nap around 1:30/2
wake 3:30ish and play more
5pm-dinner
6:30 bottle and bed.

Re: Mom's of babies 6-8 months old - schedule
Well ds’s schedule is all messed up lately since he’s getting up very early the past 2 weeks (around 5:30am).
Here is his normal schedule:
6:30 wakeup and has 6-7 oz bottle
7:45 has fruit and yogurt
8:45 nap for an hour
9:45 has 6 ounce bottle
11:00 has fruit and veggie
11:45/12 naps for an hour and a half
1:30 has 6 ounce bottle
3:30 naps for 30 min to an hour
4:30 has 6 ounce bottle
5:30 has fruit/veggie
5:45pm bathtime
6:30pm bedtime
*as for activities… we don’t have a set schedule with that. It goes from him walking around the house in his walker (more like chasing our cats and dog), to playing on the activity mat, jumper, exercauser, books, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, going outside to throw the ball to our dog, going for a walk or running errands.
ETA: ds is 7 1/2 months old.

Well luckily for the animals, they're faster. But jacen chases after them and screetches at the same time. When one runs away, he goes after the other. God help them when he starts crawling!

I think around 9 or 10 months, the ounces decrease as the table food increases.

I JUST cut down one bottle yesterday. She was getting a bottle at 11:30 and 3:30 and wasn't drinking the 3:30 at all-maybe a few ounces if that. So, I decided to do lunch first at 11:30 instead of the bottle, and then a bottle closer to the nap at 1 and cut out the 3:30-4 bottle and do dinner earlier. If that makes sense!!!

I thought until age 1 most of their nutrition comes from formula or BM and food is for practice? This is soo confusing to me!

I know! It's so hard to know what is right. I just kind of followed DD's lead. She's only been drinking about 20 oz of formula a day (and that's being generous) for a few months now. So I added an ounce or two to the 3 bottles she does have and it has stayed the same. She also eats a yogurt, 2 stage 2 fruits or veggies and a meat throughout the day plus some other table foods I'm trying to introduce.
