I knew I had expensive taste, but this is ridiculous
So DH was talking about getting a family ring now that we know the birthstone for this baby, so I go to Tiffany's website to see. DS was born in May so I throw emerald into the search. Here is what I come up with:
"UNENHANCED EMERALD RING
An unenhanced emerald is quite rare, and even rarer is an emerald that meets Tiffany’s standards for clarity. Ring with an emerald-cut unenhanced emerald and trapezoid diamonds in platinum.

And they are SERIOUS

 Um yeah.. thats one exspensive taste!!! But if dh is willing to spend.. go for it.. Would he mind buying me a house too??

Yeah I sent it to him and he said I hope we can live in it cuz I'd have to sell the house.

That's fabulous !!!
And fortunately for many people they can well afford it (I, unfortunately was not born into an empire ........)
But just an FYI, Emeralds are not cheap, even if they don't come from Tiffany's !!!

Oh I know it! We looked casually the other day at Fortunoffs. The quality of the Emeralds were shyte by comparison and the cost was through the roof
