How often do you give your kids eggs?

Scrambled eggs is one of the FEW foods DD eats without a big fit, she loves them (we put some cheese in them, and want to start sneaking some veggies in there too again).

How often is too often for eggs? She eats 1 egg per meal.

She's 19 months, if that matters.

Well, never b/c he hates them

But I don't think its a problem if she eats 1 egg per meal, I mean, they have protein and cheese is a good way to get some calcium.

Would she eat an omlette?

Once a week or so. Usually on the weekends when I have time for something other than frozen waffles being eaten in the car.

Not sure if I am reading your post correctly, but based on 3 meals a day, does that mean your DD eats 3 eggs every day?

I would think that may be too much. Maybe cut it down to one egg a day or try egg beaters? I am far from a doctor, but I would be worried about the cholesterol...IDK...

But this advice is coming from a mom who let DD pig out on potato chips on Super Bowl sunday. She had so many that she had diarrhea the next day Maybe ask your doctor at your next visit.

Rylan hates eggs so never. He will eat as piece out of my egg sandwich though...must be all the butter and salt they use to cook it...lol.

Bella loves eggs...she'll eat about 4-5 eggs per week. give or take

I'll make her 2 (scrambled) sometimes, but she won't finish it. So generally she's only getting 1.

Thomas eats 2 eggs with cheddar cheese once a week, but I don't see anything wrong with a few times a week!

DD Loves eggs, and given that we have a hard time getting protein into her, we will give her eggs a few times a week...

She likes them scrambled/omlette style, but she LOVES egg salad (I make with a little bit of heart healthy mayo for her)

I'd say usually 4 days a week. Sometimes 2, sometimes 5.

i try to give ds 1 egg every other day.

for our last visit, the doctor said babies this age need all the fat and chorestrol they get. at this age, it's good for the brain and other development. as long it's not the bad kind (ie french fries)

Everyday

But honestly, my doc said fine. It is good brain food and most of the cholesterol in them is good cholesterol and anyway my kids don't have a cholesterol problem
