I think it's nice to celebrate a holiday (even a commercial one) with my hubby.
I feel the same.
We're good to each other all the time but it feels nice to get wrapped up in the sillyness too.
I agree. DH and I have such crazy schedules most of the time that it's a nice excuse to have a quiet night together.

I love Valentine's Day! All through HS I was single and felt so bad that everyone got special treatment on Valentine's day but me. I wanted roses and presents too! Now that I have DH, we always get little things for each other and usually go out to eat on Valentine's day.

I cant stand it. I think we only celebrated it twice while we were dating to be honest. Its so overrated. Everything is so expensive and so crowded and I think things are done just to keep up with the hype of the holiday. Valentines day to me now is when my dh watches my daughter for an hour so I can take a shower, or when he takes the garbage out without me asking. Its a total hallmark holiday. And for those who will ask what about Mothers day, Fathers day...I do celebrate those..but only because I dont see my mother or father every single day and I think its nice to celebrate only them once a year. In all honesty though, I think you should love and appreciate ALL your loved ones, ALL YEAR ROUND.
