How old is your wallet?

I just realized that my wallet is going to be 10 years old this October! I kept on thinking it was 5-6 years old but then I did the math and

It is a very nice Fendi made of some anti scratch leather, that I got it for a special birthday from a then boyfriend. It has always been dear to me for various reasons but it is definitely showing some wear and tear at this point.

Besides sentimental reason, I also never replaced it because it is just perfect for what I need--not too big, has enough room for CCs, zipped compartment for change ( a must for me) and a separate compartment for bill. I have never been able to find anything with the same requirements s that was just as nice.

However, I was quite shocked when I realized how old it is!! I was just wondering is anyone has a wallet that is that old?

The LV I use every day is about 3 years, I have a 10 year old Coach wallet that I still love love love ........

but only because i just started using a long wallet. I always preferred a small wallet until last year.

Now I'm annoyed that I went to a leather market in Florence a year and a half ago and could've bought any one of 10 gorgeous long wallets I saw, but at that time, I didn't LIKE long wallets!

it's only a year old, but the one i had before that was about 3 years old.

this one is from Target, so i don't know how long it will last, but it's PERFECT for what i need and i will be sad to see it go

i change my wallet when I change my bag. I usually like my wallet to match

i have an lv wallet and will be using it until it falls apart so I hope its 10 years or more too

I think mine has to be 7 / 8 years old & its still going strong.

I have a 2 yr old Kate Spade Wallet I love.

I used my old Coach wallet for a good 5 years.

Oh wow, I never even thought about it... it's got to be 8 years old, at minimum. Maybe it's time for a new one?

I have two long wallets and a few wristlets - they are all Coach.

I have had the two long wallets for 5 years and the other for 2.5 years. They are like BRAND new - that is why I bought them. Sure, you spend a little more (I did, however, go to the outlet to get the 'best' price) but their classic style and quality craftmanship makes it so worth it.

The wristlets are the same thing - I clean them from time to time with an unscented baby wipe as per the Coach employee I spoke with. That keeps them nice and clean and in good shape. The long wallets are all leather - so, I make sure to use a leather cleaner and moisturizer on them.

I would take your current wallet to the Coach store or outlet and show it to the salesperson -- they are very helpful and I'm sure they can show you a wallet that is similar... That way, you have it in person and can compare.

The one I use most of the time is 1 year old. It's a small coach one with a keychain on it so I just carry that when I go out for walks or whatever.

I have an even smaller coach one that I use when I'm going to a wedding or something where I'm using a tiny bag.

Then I have 2 bigger coach ones that I haven't used in a while.

And I have one DH had made for me when he went to Italy after we graduated college in the summer of 1997. I was using that exclusively for a few years but I got tired of it.

I love my Burberry wallet...DH's best friend bought it for me 5 years ago and i love it

I have a four year old burberry wallet. NOt holding up very well.

My coach wallet is 7 years old. I got a new bag and DH is giving me the matching wallet for valentine's day. I still like my coach and it is in good shape, I am just in the mood for something new.

The one Im using now is a little over a year.. its a Coach.. doesnt always match the bag that I use with it but oh well!

I have a LV wallet that is about 17 years old and still looks pefect. I got a new one (different style) for Christmas and will use that for just as long.

Same here my LV is about 9 years old and it still perfect. I change bags all the time but have had this for so long.

My wallet is just a few months old. I was out shopping & it caught my eye. Before that I didn't really use a wallet.

My current on is less than a year old. My DH got me a red Tod's wallet (that I picked out) last year for my birthday

i have several and i switch them to match my bags. none of them are that old. under 5 years i would guess.
