Back from first Appt!
We had our first prenatal appt yesterday at 7w1d! We had an ultrasound first, strong heartbeat at 140bpm and the little bean looked like a sea monkey! 
Then we saw the the doctor for the first time and he was great!! If anyone needs an OB/Gyn in the Bronx or Westchester I definitely recommend Joshua Waldman in Scarsdale!
Only downside, I go back in two weeks (at 9w4d) for all the blood tests and I have to see the High Risk OB. I have a few heart problems and my OB is worried that the increase in blood volume and possibility of an increase in blood pressure is enough to warrant it. I'm not thrilled BUT I hope after we talk she'll tell me not to come back!! For those of you who have had a consult with a highrisk OB, what do they do? Just go over medical history?

congrats on your beautiful peanut!!!! 
the high-risk doc STINKS...but look at it this way - better to know NOW that there might be an issue then find out later, when you have more on your plate and more to worry about...
you will be in the BEST possible hands with that doctor!

haha, his/her great uncle disagreed, said he/she already looks JUST like daddy!  I think it looks like it's trying to box the wall!
