Holy gas biil - did you get yours for this month?
We got our gas bill yesterday and nearly fell over.  It was DOUBLE what the last bill was. Now, I know that there were 10 additional days in this billing period and it's been very cold since Christmas, but does this sound right to anyone?

yup our was too. but we figured it was due to the fact that we were home for 16 days straight over the Holidays and had the heat up when we didn't normally. I can't wait for the warmer weather.

Mine went up but the gas rate did too. Also, the number of days the bill was for went up too.

Are was like $80.00 more and DH was flipping out last night me made us sleep with the heat down super low, i think it had it on 64 and i was freezing my buns off

I had the heat down at 62, because we were both freaking about the bill. That lasted about an hour and a half because we were both freezing.

Yep, more than double from last month. $400+ Not our highest ever, but close. I am home all day and I admit I am always cold, so I bump the heat up

Ours was about $650! Our highest one ever!! Granted, we have a large home and I keep the basement heat on too, but still.

Mine was double too. We only have gas for our tankless hot water heater (our heat is oil)- so it was $20 instead of the usual $10.
