Please help me. Ava's scared when going to bed. IDK what to do.

Ugg. So we had gotten past our sleeping issues the past few weeks, and now she's scared of monsters in her room.Chat Icon Nothing has helped. Not keeping the door open, lights on, night lights, special blankets, stuffed animals, etc. The only thing that has worked is that I put her in my bed and out like a light she went. I don't know what to do. I don't want her to be scared. Normally I'd just let her cry, but I don't want her to be in her room terrified and thinking I don't careChat Icon

What about something silly like a "monster spray"?

At Halloween dd got all freaked out so I put a sign up in her window that said "No monsters allowed!" and then made a big show of searching the whole house with her to make sure none were in the house.

This is what my sister does for her 2 boys. 3 books, 3 songs, 3 sprays of "monster spray" (Oust in her case Chat Icon) and out like a light they go.

My son used to tell me he heard buzzing noises in his room Chat Icon , so I bought a spray bottle from the dollar section at target, filled it with "buzz be gone" spray (aka water) and now he keeps it on his bookcase next to the bed and he can spray it if he hears the sound. Worked like a charm, he's never sprayed it!

Thanks for the ideas girls. I'm so bad when it comes to sleep issues because she's always been an awesome sleeper. Thank you so much! I'll go down the list and try them all.
