someone bought swing.. i never recieved WWYD

so my registry says someone bought our swing and we never recieved it. Should we just buy it and then if we do recieve it return the one we get? i just feel like this is gonna be one of the items we really need when the time comes. TIA

Maybe the person that bought it plans on giving it to you when the baby comes.

I didn't have a shower and I'm having the baby in 8 days. There's a bunch of stuff that came off my registry quite a while ago. It never occured to me that we never recieved it, I just assumed whomever bought it was holding onto it until the baby was born to give as a gift then.

I would call the store and find out who purchased it for you. Sometimes they do make mistakes and they may go into the system to check and realize there was no purchaser. This happened to me on my wedding registry several times.

similar thing happened to me...had my shower but didnt get the exersaucer that appeared as purchased on my registry...ended up co workers had already purchased it and i guess are waiting until my last day or so to give it to me...could you be in a similar situation...maybe even dh's job

This happened to me w/ the bundle me. It came in the mail a couple weeks after the shower from some out of town relatives.
