Pink Eye question..

Until I get to the dr. today, after work at 4 - do you think Tylenol would help my DD at all, My husband is home with her and she is cranky and rubbing it and crying alot, she is 2?

Thanks mommies, I feel so helpless here at work, I want to leave earlier, already asked for 1 hour early and will probably need to take off for her tomorrow.

Eh, I'm not sure Tylenol would work for it. The main problems for us was how itchy it is so I kept putting warm washcloths on their eyes and it helped. I hope your DD feels better soon Chat Icon

Re: Pink Eye question..

if it is pink eye, more likely than not, tylenol wont work. antibiotic drops are prob needed, they have anti itch stuff in them too. the warm washclothes helped me when i had... good luck!

I agree with the warm washcloths. We just finished the antibiotic drops. It was tough to get them inChat Icon I hope the 10 days goes quickly. The sooner you get them in the better!Chat Icon

Re: Pink Eye question..

Will your dr just call in the drops for you? Ours did when both kids got pink eye. Until then I would try to apply warm compresses (try to use disposable ones if you can to avoid possible contamination). Also warm cotton balls to clear the eyes out.

Thank you to everyone, I will call the dr. and see if he could just call in eye drops, I don't know if they will, but it is worth a try !
