My daughter has an "angel"- aka I think she is seeing ghosts!
So, when we put up our Christmas tree a while back, I had showed DD that there is angel on top- and she can point to the angel and say "angel". She has only ever said this word when pointing to the top of the christmas tree.
So today, I am changing her diaper on the changing table in her room- and her eyes light up- and she points to the ceiling and starts saying "angel! angel! angel!"  So, I asked her if there was an angel there- And she shook her head yes! So I asked her if it was a boy angel or a girl angel- and she said "girl". How awesome is that!
So, to see if it was a fluke, I took her downstairs to the living room- and said "where is your angel?" And she looked around- and then said "i dunno". So it definitely wasn't a fluke!!
I've heard of this happening before with other kids- and I thought if it ever happened to my child, that I would be freaked out! But I'm not! DD is obviously not scared of her "angel"
Cool, right?

I had something like that happen recently with my daughter...and a few girls shared their experiences also.
My daughter was 5 months old when my grandfather died, so there is no way she knows who he is. The other day, she was pointing at the refrigerator where we have a picture from our rehearsal dinner with my grandparents and us. She was saying "grandpa"...which she never says...she only says "pa". She said it twice before I realized it, so I went over the took the picture off of the fridge. Then I pointed to all of the people in the picture asking who they all were, and she clearly identified all of us, including my grandfather, who she called "pa".
Since then I've asked her a couple of times who he is, and she tells me "pa" every time.
So, somehow....she knows who he is....and it can't be from when she was 5 months old. So I definitely think he's been visiting her.
It's really heartwarming, isn't it?

yes we have a similiar story,DH's mom years ago had a stroke while walking down the stairs and hit her head really hard and they believe both the stroke and strike to her head caused her death. DD since she is about 9 months would have a conversation with someone in that very same area my DH found his mom on the floor. now the other day we asked her who is she talking to and she said boo boo and we said boo boo? and she said yes, and we said you have a boo boo? where? and she said no boo boo in the head and pointed to where DH's mom had fallen.
children are sensitives.
Im ok with it but it bothers my DH very much.

Wow, that's amazing 
DD learned to say the word "grandpa" even though she doesn't have any living grandpas. She will randomly say "grandpa" and that means she wants to be taken to the pic of her daddy with his father...and one day, out of the blue, she kissed grandpa in the picture

My daughter has told me things on many occasions. Just the other day I walked into her room (she didn't know I was standing in the doorway). I wanted her to get up for the day.
I see her talking to "someone" on the edge of her bed. Telling them "I'll be right back" and jumped off her bed. She then noticed me and said "hi mommy". I asked who she was talking to (very sweetly and innocently because I wanted her to tell me the truth).
She answered "The sparkles that just flew in from behind the door". I asked if they had names or if they said anything to her and she just said "no silly, they don't talk, they just fly".
Another time she told me about someone who was sitting on the edge of her bed and simply said goodnight. I asked if it was a man or a woman, she said man. I asked if he had a beard or a mustache and she said both. I freaked out cause my dad passed away a long time ago and that is what he looks like. So I grabbed a pic of him and asked if that was the man and she said no.
I get a little freaked out about it, but who knows what she is really seeing, dreaming, making up. I just tell her that if they are friendly it is ok, but if they tell her to come into the light to say "no, I want to stay with my family"!!!!

I truly that children can see things that we cannot, either angels or ghosts. From time to time, I have witnessed my DD smiling or waving to someone who wasn't there IRL. And it's not even something like a character that she's doing it too, there's nothing there. Freaks me out a little, but it makes me curious as to who/what she is really seeing.

When Lily was still drinking bottles, I'd give her one before bed at night (she never got the hang of holding them on her own). Once in a while, she'd stare into the empty doorway and wave with a little smile. At first, it freaked me out....but after a while, I got used to it. I hope it was my grandpa watching over us....
I love these stories....kids are so sweet and innocent.
