Not really but there are some things that you could do to help to break it up. They say if you hang out in the bathroom while a steamy shower is running that helps to break up congestion (10 minutes)...close the door and let the steam build up. Also a humidifier would help. You could try a little Vicks on DS chest and the bottom of his feet. Many women on here swear by the Vicks on the bottom of the feet; I always do it now when DD gets congested.
Hope your son is feeling better soon!

Baby saline drops will help break it up. They are non medicated so safe for all ages.

The drops & the steamy bathroom work well! Suction him out after both to get the boogies out!!
And elevate his mattress a bit.

Saline drops and suction bulb. I also use a cool mist humidifier in dd from at night and elevated the mattress. These all help temporally but my DD was congested for like 2 Weeks and it had to run its course. HTH

DS was also sick and had congestion at around 6 weeks..we kept him proped up when he slept, used the humidifier, and used the saline nose spray. we liked using little noses brand. We also used the suction bulb when necessary. hope he feels better..

Re: Anything to give a 6 week old for congestion?
Thanks everyone-just to clarify-he has relfux and seems to get mucous/milk in the back of his throat and he can't clear it out...we have been suctioning with the nasal aspirator after every feeding and using saline. We hold him upright for about 20 mins after a feeding and he is sleeping in his bouncy seat mostly because of this issue-he will choke if I lay him flat. I am off dairy and he is EBF/fed pumped breast milk. I am going to look into the vicks and try the steamy bathroom too...You guys are the best! Thanks
