We went to Zippity Doos in Merrick for DS 1st haircut. It was cute, he got a certificate etc. They did a very nice job.

I went to Sal and Vin's in Valley Stream.
They were great!!!
THey gave us a lock of hair and a certificate....
A little shorter than I would have liked, but I would have cried either way!

Where do you live?
DH takes DS to our local Barber Shop. It's become his thing to take DS for his haircuts...It's in Nesconset.

DH takes DS to our local Barber Shop. It's become his thing to take DS for his haircuts...It's in Nesconset.
This is what we did, in Smithtown though. It was great, the guy was quick and DS cried the whole time but he did a good job and was done in about 7 minutes flat!

We went to a place in Centereach. I think it was called Kids Cuts or something. (If you want to know exactly, FM me and I will find out.) It was $12 and they give you a certificate for his first haircut and a lock of hair.

There is a great place in Miller Place....North Shore Kids I think that is the name. Very baby friendly!
