I used All Free & Clear from day one. I've never had any problems.

ITA! We use it on all of our laundry, not just DD's.

We've always used All Free and Clear for all of us b/c my dog is allergic to laundry detergent.

Re: babies and laundry detergent...
After I finished the Dreft detergeant up. I washed my own clothes in Tide & they never had any reaction to my clothes and they were contantly laying on me.

Re: babies and laundry detergent...
I plan on doing all laundry together once I am out of Dreft. DS is 6 months and the small thing of Dreft is still going strong unfortunately.

Re: babies and laundry detergent...
From day one, we used whatever detergent we use for DW and myself. We figured, why spend extra time and money doing separate laundry, with separate detergent if it didn't matter to them. They didn't have any reaction to the "normal" detergent, so we never bothered with the extra expense.

We use tide free and clear - and still use it - but we also use it for our stuff as well - so it just makes things easier - we have an HE so we really can't use dreft - and since both DH and I have allergies - the free and clear work just fine for us too.

Re: babies and laundry detergent...
With Derek, we used dreft until about 9 months, and then started to use Tide Free and he was fine. With Chase, from day 1 I used Tide Free and he is fine. It's so much easier to use the same detergent for the whole family.

Re: babies and laundry detergent...
another ALL free and clear user.
I still separate kids clothes from adult clothes, since the kids' stuff goes in hot water to kill any funky germs they picked up...and they go into the dryer w/o the sheet

Re: babies and laundry detergent...
Kyle is almost a year and I ran out of Dreft when he was about 8 months and used regular Tide since I had to do his laundry and he was fine. Now I just use that.
