DS' 1st day in NYC yesterday and....
IT WAS FREEZING!!!!
I can't post pics. They are in portrait not landscape (don't know how to do that on LIF).

We went today and it was equally freezing!!! Did you go to Santaland at Macy's? It was a madhouse there today!

No, we went to see the tree, saw Elmo then went to Central Park. Then we decided to head back to the car. It was just so cold with the wind.
On "meet Elmo". There was an Elmo next to some camera crew so we thought it was part of the filming. We took pics with DS and Elmo. After we left, DH said "I don't think Elmo was with the TV crew". He was just tagging along. He had a "Tips" bag. I  I saw the bag but this idiot translated in different languages on the bags. In English, French, etc... The idiot wrote "Tips" in English and "Advice" in French. Lost in Translation. I thought he meant like "tips, cheat sheet" for NYC. The idiot translated Tips in French as "advice". Not $$ tip definition. So, I did not think about tippong him. Only in NYC

Too funny!!! We saw quite a few Elmos today with their tip stockings out! Along with Mickey Minnie and Pooh!

Ugh, the costumed Elmo!
We were suckered into taking photos with Elmo near Rockefeller Center last year. DD hadn't really seen Elmo before, besides her one stuffed Elmo, and she went crazy for him. So we had to get a photo with him and tip him.
We avoid those places on the weekends!

Elmo was there on a Tuesday too. With the tip bag. DD was so excited to see him. I tipped a couple bucks and took a few photos.
