So at your ultrascreen...did anyone else's baby not cooperate?
My tech never had that happen to her...she said it's okay, there are days when babies aren't as active...we saw the arms, legs moving just fine but trying to get that baby to roll around was almost impossible.
I guess I'm worrying in the back of my mind.  Can't help it. I was laughing at the time, just thinking the baby was stubborn like Daddy. Now it's just kind of nagging at me.
Anyone else out there have a sleepy baby for their ultrascreen?TIA

My baby sleeps through all my sonos. I did not have the ultrascreen, but G also did not cooperate during any of his sonos either. I had to go 3 times to get my complete Level II
It happens. Drink some OJ or eat something a little sugary. That is what I have t do before any sonos.

Actually at my 20 week Level II the little guy was not cooperating! The tech kept had me turning on my side, then back, etc. Finally he moved for her! It took a while and I was so unconfortable!!

I had felt the same way. My baby barely moved at all during the Level II , and it made me more nervous that the tech kept saying to the screen, "Come on, baby, move. Move, baby, move." She also had a concerned look on her face. It wasn't until I asked her about it did she say that it was a normal thing. Everything turned out to be just fine.

We were lucky both babies cooperated at the ultrascreen - the tech actually says that hardly ever happens!
At the level II though, baby A wouldn't cooperate and I had to go back.

Our baby wasn't cooperating. The ultrasound tech kept poking and prodding the baby to get him to move. It was the first time I was protective of my baby. I felt like she was being too rough and possibly hurting the baby.

our cooperated, tech said " that was almost too easy" i wanted to see the baby move, so she proded it and it moves the briefly and settled right back down.... same as Bridex- my husband didnt want the tech to hurt the baby

Oh yeah...there was no one in the world that was gonna wake up our "little duck"! the tech had me try all sorts of things to get the baby to move, including poking! In the end she just gave up and told me to come back the following week...I was nervous it would happen again so I had a piece of candy before my appt. and the exact opposite happened! I had a jumping bean inside my belly! It was all too funny, but it happens, I wouldn't be worried!

Mine also never cooperates during sonos. I did have to go twice so they could finish the Level II. I had to have a fetal echo cardiogram done at 20 weeks, and it took over 3 hours because she would not cooperate.
Often times the tech has to spend some time shaking her to wake her up.

my  was not cooperative at all - took the dr nearly 2 hours to get the measurements. I also went on the last day they will do the test (13w6d) so I was worried it wasn't going to get done (which is the reason they kept working on it and didn't have me back)

Hey Tara.................Emerson was COMPLETELY uncooperative during my Level II. We had to actually go back 2 weeks later and have another sono so they could get all the other measurements they needed. She was breech at the time and she kept putting her hands and feet in the way of everything so it was hard for them to see what they needed to. Next time drink some OJ.......that helped get Emerson moving before a sono.

Uncooperative baby here also!
The tech was shaking my belly and everything trying to wake the baby up. All of a sudden we saw what looked like a jolt of movement and the arms and legs started flailing around. It was actually pretty funny. I'm sure the baby was not very happy about being woken up though.

My ultrascreen was fine but I had to go FOUR times for my level II because she stayed in the same position every time, also just moving her arms and legs. My first two kiddos were active little monsters in there.
I wouldn't worry, I'm sure everything is perfectly fine! Some are just more active than others!

I was joking to DH that it looks like our chances of having an ADHD child have gone down. I always figured we'd have a seriously hyperactive child.
Thanks everyone! Gonna drink the OJ for next time...I'm dying to see the baby move around even more!
