Diarrhea in a newborn
My son is 5 weeks old. He was switched to Nutramigen last ?Tuesday. His stool is now very watery. I am going to call the dr, but just wanted to see if anyone experienced this. Thanks

Yes, it's VERY common with Nutramagen. My daughter was on it before being switched to Neocate (bad spit up issues--reflux) and her poop was really yucky and watery, still is.

It doesn't hurt to ask the doctor before next week.

My daughter is 3 weeks tomorrow. She is on her third formula. When we tried soy, she had very watery smelly poop that I thought was diarrhea too but the ped said no. We switched her to a different one and it isnt watery anymore. I am sure it is normal but I would call the ped anyway.
