when to call the dr
when do u call dr to schedule first appt, just missed af so should be around 4 weeks prego if go by last period.
should i wait till 5 weeks to make sure af dont come?

my doctor didn't want to see me until 8 weeks. i think that's typical with others too... that way, you'll be sure to see the heartbeat when they do the sono.

I called the same day I got a BFP!! I was 4 weeks. My doctor didn't see me until I was 8 weeks.

I called the day I got a postive HPT. I know the Dr. wouldn't see me until at least 8 weeks but they wanted me to come in for prenatal bloodwork and to confirm by bloodtest. It is also hard to get appts with my doctor so I made them all in advance.

My OB doesn't see anyone before 8 weeks.
I would call now and see when your doctor recommends you come in.

I called when I got my BFP and my Ob saw me at 6 weeks.

i just got a BFP last night and just made an appointment wiht my dr, they didnt want to see me until 8 weeks but squeezed me in on christmas eve ;)

I called right away and they saw me the next day at 4 weeks. It was really just to confirm.

I called the doc the day after I got my BFP. I waited 1 week after my missed period to test. I wouldn't call unless you got a BFP from a HPT
