anyones DH buy things for baby?
Rob has been so amazing...(not ny DH until next week though lol)...anyway he already got thw twins yankee hats when we found out they were boys...and today he comes home from sams club with 2 huge ride on animals that match the jungle animals in their crib bedding...he was SO EXCITED! it was amazing to see..he's really ready o be a daddy!! anyone else?

You're so lucky your DH is so excited to a point of even shopping for the babies already!
It's like pulling teeth to get my DH to take me to Babies R Us for baby supplies! He doesn't even want to take the childbirth or infant care classes! :P

My DH is awesome and so excited for our daughter to arrive, but he has not bought anything, nor have I. Nothing will be brought into the house until she is born, and home from the hospital.

I'm the "research person" in our house. Anything and everything that needed research, I was heavily involved in. I decided on the car seats, monitors, safety gate, door locks and latches, etc.
I was very much involved in all of DC's furniture. I have bought, and still do buy, quite a few things for DC.
I think it's very important that DHs are as involved as possible in DC.

my husband knows how picky i am so i think hes afraid to buy any clothing, but he ALWAYS picks up lil stuff he sees, he bought the baby her first Merry Christmas Charlie Brown book, and wrote her alil note inside of it (it is his fave) he picked alot up off the registry..
but the poor thing, keeps buying lil mets stuff, and i have such issues with the blue mets stuff for girls, at least buy pink and white..he feels like thats "wrong" lol...
so he buys, and i return ;) lol i feel slightly bad but he thinks its kinda funny lol

dont go giving him the noble peace prize lol he still cringes each time i say lets go to BRU LOL he hates the way people walk around in there just stand in the way..etc....but if i show him things online when researching them(it took me 2months to completely finish registry due to bed rest and intense research LOL)...int he end i felt like i was researching too m uch an i went based on parents ratings.....the second we found out it was boys he started showig intereest honestly before then he kep saying : we don't even know what they are...its like they arent kids yet LOL..men!
