yes, unless you refuse it..which i will do.. but aside from i think its Vitamin K for blood purposes, thats the other shot they are given after delivery..i will just get Vit K

Its typically given at birth and then again at one month!
I will be refusing the shot and most likley will hold off till my child is a pre-teen.

They offer it at the hospital when the baby is born. If you refuse the baby gets it at 1 month.

we are refusing it as well... I would like to hold off on that one as long as possible (I just don't see enough of a risk when they are a baby)

We're going to refuse it. As long as you test neg for Hep B I really don't feel it's necessary at such a young age.

I think it depends on the hospital and the Ped. I delivered DD at Columbia Presbyterian and I was going to wait until she saw our ped at home to get it but I never got to refuse it because - they only give it to the clinic patients.
