Ladies who have gotten pics with the mall Santas....?? Added question...
What times are they there and are they only there on specific days??
ETA - How bad are the lines? Do they move pretty fast??

they are there everyday!!! I am pretty sure they are there during ALL hours that the mall is open.
ETA: at least Smithhaven Mall is this way

My husband is convinced that the Smithaven Mall Santa is the "real" Santa, and he's there all day everyday.
As I typed that, I realized what a horrible job he has.....

Totally amazing...apparently he was "shipped in from out of town"
 at least that is what the photographer there said...

Lines are horrible on weekends and the closer it gets to Christmas. I would go early in the morning on a weekday and you should be ok.

We went at dinnertime on a Saturday and were ok.
But I do agree with Melissa that they are bad on the weekends.

We just got back from the Sunrise Mall. According to my 5yo a"picture Santa" was there - with a very fake beard. There was no line at all. DS did not want to vist with him. We did our shopping and came back - DS changed his mind and decided he would talk to the "picture Santa". Of course Santa was now on a break  . So we waited about 10 minutes and the REAL SANTA came out.  Full white beard and all!
The line was probably about 20 deep when we left.

You know on the 14th is the guys work one so you din't have to go to the mall and wait on lines if you don't want to Plus it's free
