the glucose test is one of, if not THE most important test you will take in your pregnancy.
you can have GD and have NO symptoms WHATSOEVER.
untreated diabetes in pregnancy can have devastating effects on your baby and can even cause fetal death.
i would get the test when your doctor recommends it - it's given at that time for a reason. i wouldn't delay it a single day.

My sister failed the 1hr and skipped the 3hr...her Dr's were NOT happy. SHe ended up having to monitor her sugars daily by pricking her finger to make sure they were OK since they didn't have any 3hr results. Not smart to skip it, why jeopordize your baby in any way??

Why would you skip it?
My 'pee on a stick' results are perfect every time I see the Dr, but he still scheduled me for the 1 hr. glucose test at my next appt (I will be 26 weeks) .......
