Is the whole " how you are carrying" concept...
just a wives tale or is their some sort of medical validity to the whole thing ??? I think its kind of funny  I've actually heard people "arguing" over how I'm "carrying" and it gets pretty heated- LOL ...I've never put any clout into it at all- When I look at someone and take a guess, its a vibe I get, not a "belly shape" shape thing...Just wondering out loud

I don't think there is any medical backing to it. Everyone thought I was carrying a  and I had a  . Even after we found out the sex at 20 weeks, people still insisted I must be having a boy!

I personally think it's total bullshite-- but it's fun when people guess. I think everyone's body is different-- and reacts to pregnancy differently. Honestly, I don't even know how I am carrying.

I feel old wives tale.. everyone.. even strangers insisted my last pregnancy was a boy.. and even after telling them sono said girl they argued.. when born she was indeed a girl.
Again this pregnancy having same issue.. but dont know sex this time.. Everyone is insisting boy again.. but well see in feb.

I think it's all crap, just like the correlations btwn sex and acne, hair growth, morning sickness, etc.
That said, I'm carrying stereotypically boy (all belly, all in front like i'm hiding a basketball in my shirt) and that's what I'm having. To me it's all coincidence.

I am carrying all in my belly and EVERYONE says ...I have had 3 different sonos that confirmed , and have seen her parts for myself!
So, I dont believe the old wives tale.

I'm carrying typical girl and thats what I'm having, but I think I'm carrying typical girl is bc I have hips to begin with so thats where I got bigger, instead of being out and pointy so I think its BS also...

Being pregnant and being observant of other pregnant women, I have come to realize these beliefs are more coincidence than anything.
I just was at a friend's shower and she was ALL BELLY and pointy. So she should be having a boy right- nope girl.
My cousin's wife is carrying all over which some would believe means girl, but no she is having a boy.
As for me I do not know what I am having. Alot of people are telling me boy because I am all belly, I am not paying any attention.
Everyone's body is different so they carry differently.

i think it's all bull. how you carry depends on your body stature and your genetics.
my sister and i carried exactly the same way. she has had 4 girls, and i had a boy. go figure!

I don't know. Everyone keeps saying I'm carrying "boy" but my grandmother who had boys and girls said that she carried the same as me for all of her kids. I am All belly and very pointy and high.
