DH vent!
Am I the only one whose DH does little if anything to help out now that you are PG? I am soooo mad right now bc whenever I ask him to help me with something, it is always, "Later" or he gives me a hard time about it. I just started my 7th month and the doctor told me not to spend as much time on my feet bc I was having minor contractions earlier in the week, but I am still a slave around the house!!! Please tell me I am not the only one dealing with this! Vent over.

You're not alone!! DH had off from work today and he spent the better part of the day playing XBox! Granted he works a tons BUT we just moved into a new apt and there's a ton to be done!! I even made him a list of thigs he could do while i was at work and nothing got done!! And it was a simple list- hang our picture, hook up the stereo, take out the garbage!

I completely sympathize with you ladies!
My DH treats me the same as b4 the pregnancy. No special treatment whatsoever! He's so lucky I'm not confined to bedrest and don't have wicked morning sickness.
It would be nice to be abit pampered considering having a baby is physically demanding!

Would it help your cause to have DH hear the doctor say that you need to be off your feet for the health of your unborn child? Some men just don't get the full picture.
I am lucky that my DH is super helpful without me asking. He is as SAHD during the day so that probably makes it a bit different. But he does work evenings & never complains about all that he does.

Well, after I flipped out and cried to him about not helping me, he felt bad and did a bunch of things and was super nice the rest of the evening. Hopefully this lasts.... we'll see!

i have to be honest..i am VERY lucky in that aspect...Rob iis so helpful and basically has taken on most chores including food shopping since ive been on bed rest...he has made things alot easiier on me and even came home with flowers the other day...then on the 2nd he came home with the new britney spears cd he knew i wanted it really badly..he got out of work at 8 and went to walmart to find it....i guess i should hug himw hen he gets home today...after he vaccuums LOL
