My wedding band! Has this ever happened to anyone?
My wedding band has changed shape! It seems to have taken on the shape of my finger. Its a very small, delicate platinum eternity band. I didnt notice it until yesterday, when some girlfriends from work and I were comparing rings. One of the girls said the same thing happened to her original platinum ring. I know platinum is a soft metal, but I never expected the shape of my ring to change!

it happens to all my rings and none of them are platinum

this used to happen to my rings when i was in high school - it was because i was very fidgety...and forever tapping my fingers (hence the rings tapping) on tables, etc...
you can take it to any jeweler and they can put it on a thingy (kinda like a long pole) that is round and they can reshape it that way.

Platinum is a very soft metal and changes shape when exposed to heat. What stinks about mine is that it has diamonds on it and when it does change shape, the diamonds have a tendency to fall out!

I have 18kt gold which is softer I believe than 14kt.
It has totally gotten misshapen on the band... it's horrible!

It hasn't happend to my wedding band, wich is rather wide & made of 14K white gold, but my platinum engagment ring has changed a little & my gold rings that I wore in high school were both misshapen. They both had very thin bands.

Both my wedding ring and e-ring are platinum and neither of them have changed shape.
