Color Help
Dh and I are going to a wedding next Friday. I need a few opinions on color.
What color shirt should he wear with his suit? I think it has to be white but I prefer him in a color. Would black be awful  ?
What color shoes should I wear? I'll be replacing the black skinny belt on my dress with a thick black patent one. I have the peep toes below in the exact color pink to match the dress and I also have them in black leather the bit under the peep toe is black patent.
My dress looks like this except the belt on mine is a skinny black one. Unfortunately I don't have this Versace dress but it looks just like it (I like to think so anyway  )
This is my dh's suit. I don't like how it looks with a white shirt  . Unfortunately he tried to superglue the hem on his black suit (it didn't work) so he is stuck wearing the grey one. Could he wear a grey shirt darker than the suit?

i would wear the black shoes - i personally think that pink shoes with the pink dress would be too much. those shoes are gorgeous btw!
as for your DH, how about a blue shirt? any color blue really. blue and grey go great together!!
white is nice, but it's basic... more for work than for a wedding.
he could also wear a darker grey, i think that would be nice too.

i was going to suggest a nice, dark, cobalt blue shirt too! I think it would look lovely!

Totally agree!! You should wear black shoes, he can wear any shirt that's a complementary color to pink--a nice deep blue would be hot with that gray suit but he could definitely get away with a lighter blue also.

 Thanks girls for your help and the shoes are Nine West I found them on clearance so I bought them in two colors.
I think you are right about the black shoes. Plus with the belt it will bring it all together.
I like the idea of a blue shirt but I don't know how it will work with my pink dress. I usually like to get him a tie with the color that is in my dress. Do you think the blue and pink would be too much? I think I'll try to find a darker grey shirt. Men have it so easy and how did I ever get dressed before LIF.

DH has a really nice tie from Van Heusen that would be perfect  It's predominantly blue and darker blue, with just tiny bits of that color pink and burgundy--something like that would be ideal, but I think you could do a blue and charcoal tie, that would be really nice....or even just blue and lighter blue....nice and monochromatic!

How about a pale pink shirt and a pink tie. My DH has 2 gray suits and I love the way pink and lavendar look with gray. I also love blue with gray.
