Do/did you and your DH disagree on finding out the sex?
ARGGH I'm so frustrated right now!!!! 
I don't want to know the sex until the baby is born. I just want the anticipation of not knowing until the birth.
DH wants to know. Big time. Now.
He says he could find out and then won't tell me. But that will KILL ME!
Arrrgggh how did you resolve this?!?!?!
He's the type that doesn't like surprises on xmas- he wants to get what he asks for.

That's a tough one. We both didn't want to know. I say since you're the one carrying the baby, you make the decision.  But I doubt that would go over too well!

I didn't want to know but DH did so on the day of the level 2 I closed my eyes and let the dr show him, but not say anything since I was in the room.
to this day DH has no idea what he looked at and can't tell you if we're having a boy or girl 
now that we're less than 60 days away he's happy he didn't find out and just can't wait to meet our little

I can understand where you DH is coming from. It's hard to wait that long ... I give kudos to those who can stand the suspense. LD
If he wants to know, let him but tell him to keep it to himself. Nobody else should know 'cus someone is bound to spoil the surprise for you.
Sorry you have to deal with this dilemma.

DH wants to know but since I'm the one carrying the extra weight and have to go through labor he let me make the decision. Smart man.  We are staying w/ team green!

Yes!! My DH is still upset we didn't find out. It would be so much easier if we agreed. I actually have another sono in a few weeks and I'm considering finding out. I figured if no one is going to be excited about waiting then I might at well just no.

ugh he's not budging ladies! He thinks it's perfectly okay that HE knows and I don't! I'm sure he won't tease me or give hints, but just the fact that HE knows and I don't will just drive me BATTY! Arggghh I haven't seen him be this selfish and unreasonable in a while! He's been so good since we've been married.
I mean geez - I'M the one carrying this baby!!!! It should be MY decision!

YESS!!! with my DS and this one. I caved with DS and had them write it on a peice of paper- i cheated the next day and looked. This one- i stood my grounds. its my last baby and i want to be suprised just once. He was mad- but is getting over it. I think he is enjoying the suspense in the long run.

My DH tried to do that with me too, but the sono tech listened to me- she said it was my decision- so it worked out just fine.

You have veto power as you are the one sacrificing your body for 9+ months!
DH wanted to know but really was agreeable either way
I didn’t want to know and we did not find out before hand!
Wouldn’t change it for anything, there is something so fun about all the guessing and not knowing for that long! Everyone has reasons why it’s a boy or girl. Even the cashiers in the store used to tell me why I was having a girl/boy.
I would never let DH know and not me….it would kill me, he cant keep a secret to save his life, and that’s just not right!

I wanted to wait and DH really wanted to find out. I'm not sure how he did it but he annoyed me into submission. Our compromise was that we are not telling anyone  's name until he is born. I wanted it to be a total suprise but DH has been telling people our top 2 names. I guess I'm a total push over, huh?

yikes! i didn't want to know at all, but DH did. i was my stubborn self and said if i have to be pregnant for 9 months, whatever i say goes . he couldn't argue, but i knew if he found, out one way or another unintentionally, he would let the gender slip and i would be crushed. i hope he lets you have your way!! waiting to find out is so fun and exciting!

I didn't want to find out and DH did. I told him that I'm carrying the baby and that it is my decision...haha. I also made him realize how excited he will be when the baby is born to find out the sex and to tell all of our family and friends at that point. He respected my decision. With 5 weeks to go we are still on team !

Are you planning on having more than one baby? DH and I decided that we would like to have two kids - we'd find out with one, but not the other. I'd like to find out with the first and keep the second a surprise, but now he disagrees with that! You can't win!

Before I ever got pregnant, I thought I might want to find out the sex. DH didn't want to know. The more I thought about it, the more I agreed with him. I'm so glad we didn't find out.

It is really tough though.
The way I see it, I am picking my battles, there are going to be some things I really want and then he is going to have to go along with them.

however if i didnt want to know, id be ok with him knowing- as long as he kept it a secret from everyone else we knew-(since hes good at keeping secrets, and other family members arent always)
