Had my shower on Sunday!
I got so much stuff!!!! I will try to post pics eventually. My family was all super ****** though because apparently, the place "lost the reservation" at the last minute and then, they never ordered the cake for me so I had no shower cake for pics.  .
I had never heard of the restaurant they had it at, but it's here on Long Island so I will gladly FM any of you to keep away from this place if you are planning a shower!!!

OMG....I'm so sorry, that is terrible!
How can you lose the reservation and no shower cake....that is just wrong...
I would Love to know what restaurant this was, if you don't mind. I am wondering if I have ever heard of them.
I'm glad that you received alot of stuff, but again I'm sorry that they made your shower not so special.

OK, I am just going to share the place. I doubt my family come on this site anyways and otherwise, my shower was awesome.

From what I learned after the fact, my MIL was in tears all week long, and they were really rude to my family at the actual event for the cake issue---like it was my family's fault or something.
Maybe we should start a spin-off thread of where to NOT have a shower!
