Re: Help head cold

There are meds you can take but most of the time you need your doc's permission. I was told I could take Tylenol cold, Benadryl, and Sudafed )regular) when I was pregnant. Nothing with a decongestant in it though. I hope you feel better!!!

Re: Help head cold

I am suffereing with the same problem

Sore throat (on Tues)
now I have a slight cough, stuffy nose, sinus pain and chapped lips.

I havent taken anything but I think after 4 days of this- today I am sending DH out to get the Sudafed the Dr said I could take.

You can take straight up Sudafed. They have a regular one and a decongestant. Just take the regular. Or Tylenol Cold.

Re: Help head cold

My dr. said plain old regular Sudafed was ok last time I was sick

From research I did online it should be the one behind the counter you need to sign for because it was being used to make meth (I think)

The Sudafed PE is BAD- it can constrict the blood vessels and not give the baby oxygen

I know you can take Tylenol cold, not sure about the head congestion one.
My doc told me regular sudafed, Robitussin, benedryl to help me sleep
