Question about movement
Since I started feeling the baby at 17 weeks, I have felt consistent, daily, movement (can even feel kicks - and so can DH). Yesterday and today, I've barely felt anything. I know it's normal to go some days without feeling AS MUCH, but I am trying to do everything to get this one to move (drinking OJ, etc.), and not much Should I be worried?

Re: Question about movement
I had something similar happen. I felt consistent flutters for a few weeks and then I barely felt anything for a few days. It's normal. Even though you've been feeling consistent movement, you're still early. Things like kick counts don't even start until 28 weeks. You may not feel as much b/c the baby could be less active or in a position where it's harder to feel movement. I wouldn't worry.

Re: Question about movement
Drink something sweet and lay oin your left side for about 1/2 hr. you are still quite early so i don't think there is anything to be concerned about but if you do that and stilk don't feel anything it can't hurt to call your dr...

Re: Question about movement
Still not feeling much movement and I've taken all of your advice. I am so worried I know it's early (20 weeks) but I've felt consistent movement for a few weeks now. Guess it's time to call the doctor Please keep me in your prayers!

Re: Question about movement
I am sure it's ok. I definitely had that happen to me a number of times. I think baby would switch positions/locations and some places I would feel her a lot, and others I just wouldnt feel her even though she was moving around. I did call the dr whenever I was worried (i dont think there is any harm in that) and they brought me in every time for peace of mind. It was always 100% fine. The first time I went was 22 weeks. The nurse told me I was lucky to feel the baby once per day until 24 weeks. She said at 24 weeks I should feel the baby at least once per day, and at 28 weeks, I should feel the baby all the time. She still let me come in to ease my mind. I went back at 29 weeks and they wanted me in. It was all fine...she was moving around, but my placenta was right on top of her so I wasn't feeling it. Good luck!!!! I'm sure you and baby are just fine!
