DH and I are buying a house and there is carpet in the living room and downstairs. There is hardwood underneath the rugs and everywhere else in the house. We are pulling the rugs up right away and refinishing the wood floors. Who did you guys use? TIA!
We used Harris Floors and were very happy with them! To sand, stain and poly the living room, dining room, 3 stairs and a teeny tiny landing, it was about $800. Our living room is 14x19 and the dining room is 12x12.
I think we saved a little bit of money because we pulled up the carpet ourselves - I'm not sure if it would be more if they pull the carpet up (if they even do that at all...)

Thank you I just showed DH the pictures of your floor from start to finish, he got so excited. He said the first thing we do when we close is call the floor guys. Thanks again!
