What prenatal vitamin do you take??
So I've pretty much gone through all my vitamin samples that I received at my first OB appt. I think I'm gonna go with Prenate DHA.
What vitamin is everyone else taking?? Are you happy with it?

i take target prenatals, my OB said they are just as good. The most important thing is folic acid.

I take Target OTC Pre-natal.
I also personally need to take additional folic acid-- so I get that from Vitamin Shop.
THEN, I also take Omega 3-- I used Nordic Naturals Lemon Burst-- these are my least favorite, but they don't taste fishy

I take the Duet DHA and I love them. I have a hard time swallowing big pills. No trouble with these and they come with Fish Oil pills for the Omega-3s.

i take Target prenatals - i have a VERY sensitive stomach and they are one of the only ones that don't bother me.
I also take one folic acid supplement per day.

I'm assuming that if I needed to take another supplement my OB would recommend it right?? Or is this something that you decided to do on your own and your doctor ok'd it?

yes-- as per my doc. i also do a baby aspirin.
you can add the omega 3- if you do an otc vitamin though. i think a lot of the prescription ones already have it.

I take Target and the Expecta Lipil supplements for DHA.
I bought a bottle of the OneSource prenatals from Walmart- you have to take two pills though but it definitely has more calcium.

walmart prenatal- so much easier to swallow then when i was taking -Calnate or Nataleze and alot cheaper since our insurance plan swiched.
also expecta lipil for the dha

Where do you get the Omega supplements? I have not really been taking them because of the fishy taste. I eat these DHA chews, but there isn't much in them.

Me too!!! I like that it has Omega 3 and DHA. That is why I started taking them.

I will say, that they kinda smell a little fishy-- but they DO NOT taste fishy, nor do they "repeat" on you. You can find them online, or at Vitamin Shop.
I don't even eat fish-- and I can deal with them.

I took perfect prenatals from the health food store. Has a lot of whole food supplements. I AM still using them post pardom since I am nursing.
