Changed the nursery bedding....
I swear I can't make a decision with ANYTHING for this child.....
DH and I went to the store yesterday to finalize the registry and I decided to change the nursery bedding..... I could not do the silk, as pretty as it was because there literally was no way to wash it....
SO we are having a custom bumper and skirt made using the following fabric choices. The bumper will be the pink fabric with the paisley as a ruffle on the top of the bumper and the bumper ties. The dot fabric will be the bed skirt with a 2” – 3” border of the pink fabric on the bottom. Her rocker will be green, I'm thinking pale pink curtains with pink ribbon sashes. The room is butter yellow and the furniture is the antique white furniture in my album. We are also doing a clear crystal chandelier. I think these new swatches go better with my original idea of a shabby chic nursery....
What do you all think???

Where are you having this done?
Its a small store in CT...
But the company is called Pine Creek Bedding
They don't sell directly to the public, you have to go through one of the stores that carries them so see if there is one near you. The prices are really reasonable for custom bedding and there are TONS of fabric and layout options its amazing. I went with a fairly simple design to keep myself sane but the possibilities are endless!!!
I love that no one will have the exact same bedding as me!

I went off the deep end when I found out it was a girl, my DH stays far far away from me and doesn't voice his opinion, which is rare for him..LOL

I went off the deep end when I found out it was a girl, my DH stays far far away from me and doesn't voice his opinion, which is rare for him..LOL
I never thought I would get like this....the moment they said "Yup, it's a girl" I went NUTS!!!!!!
I guess the good thing is that my DH is actually as ridiculous as me..... He picked out the "dot" fabric and was determined to have it incorporated
HE is the one driving me nuts because he wants to make sure everythign is perfect for her and unique
I'm like....seriously dude WHERE DID MY HUSBAND GO??? ANd who are you??

my husband ALWAYS has an opinion, even when we were getting married he needed his say in everything...I think he saw my head spin when they said it was a girl and my eyes turn red that he knew not to mess with me, and that "honey that's perfect" would make me not self combust...

very pretty! I particularly like the first two fabrics-- but am a fan of mixing and matching different patterns and textures. I am sure it will be beautiful!
