I am 16 weeks and my DS has coxsackie
DS was just diagnosed with coxsackie virus yesterday. Everything I am reading they say if pregnant call your ob. So I did. They told me to wash my hands continously, stay away from DS and don't kiss DS. Hello, its to late for that. He has already thrown up on me yesterday. Falling asleep only on my shoulder with his temps of 103. What am I supposed to do just let him suffer without his mom. They tell me if I show any signs to make an appointment.
Please pray that I don't show any signs of coxsackie.

FYI...DS had coxsaxie BADLY when I was very early on & Dr said it is most harmful if caught 2 weeks or less prior to delivery.

Molly had coxsackie when I was pregnant. I was told to wash my hands constantly and not to share anything like forks, drinks, etc.
I ended up not getting so I hope you don't. I still cuddled her though.

I had coxsackie my 1st pregnancy, and my Dr wasn't concerned

we had kids ( patients) come in to get their teeth cleaned that had coxsackie- parents were unaware. we read it is only harmful if pregnant women get it in the 3 tri. I hope your DS feels better.

Ahh okay. I believe we were at the same party on Saturday so I'm hoping DD doesn't get it since we're going to WDW next week. Hope he feels better soon!
