we didnt have to show ids.
they had an imprinted copy of signatures from voter registrations on the sign-in sheet to check people's signatures against.

Whoops - I just started the same topic.
I think it's absolutely ridiculous to not have to show ID! I was so annoyed I called the Board of Elections. I need ID for everything else I cannot fathom why it should't be needed to vote.

Nope and it sort of irritated me because I dug my license out of my wallet while waiting for the lady to find my name. Apparently she had issues figuring out that "H" come AFTER "G", not before.

They took ours if we had it, they said it made it "easier", but it wasn't necessary.

Nope and I also thought it was wierd. Although I was happy they didn't because I was registered under my maiden name and was concerned there would be an issue! They did have to match my signature, but that's it.

nope
and I am registered under my maiden name. I asked for them to change it to my married name, which they did. they never asked for any ID. I could have changed my name to Rumplestilskin

I'm in CT and they asked for ID. However, I didn't have to sign anything, they were just checking off the names.
When I gave my name and ID they said had already marked me down that I voted earlier in the day!  I said no, I hadn't, my husband had, but not me. They said okay and sent me to the booth. Very secure system we've got going on here!
