Well I went to BBB and BRU....

and I liked BBB SO much better! Their customer service was GREAT, their selection was MUCH bigger, and the overall feel of the place was much nicer. I registered at both places and will go back and put things on my registry in the next few weeks. I found many of the bigger items at BBB (BRU barely had anything I was looking for). I'm worried that if I register at both places, putting the bulk on the BBB, that it might be a problem for some since BRU is much more convenient. Any opinions?

I'd put some of the more "traditional" things anyone can buy you on the BRU one.

Re: Well I went to BBB and BRU....

I registered at both but very little at BBB because it was not convenient for my guests. But I found my bedding and some other key items there so needed to do it. My mom and best friend took care of the critical things there, but no one else touched it. My family does not really online shop so BRU was my best option, as much as I hate dealing with them!

Honestly there are two BBB that i know of one in westbury and one in Huntington.... If you like most of the stuff at BBB then i would register there... the return policy is ALOT better than BRU...

Thats what i did they had a much better stroller selection then BRU and also pack n plays and basically everything i thought plus you can use your bed bath and beyond coupons there as long as they are not

I have majority at BBB BUT I do have a lot at BRU since the pattern I picked- the MILAN doesn't make a swing, bouncer ot highchair.

Heres a breakdown:

BBB:

Infant Car Seat- Graco Milan
Stroller- Milan
PNP- Milan
Britax Car seat
Exersaucer

BRU-
Highchair- Graco Deco
Bouncer-Deco
Swing- Deco

Re: Well I went to BBB and BRU....

I liked BBB to but there is only 2 stores and for most of the families and friends its just not convient and i do not think its right that my guests have to pay shipping costs...and i dont want a ton of gifts cards to get most of my stuff...jsut the little things not bought...so its all at BRU and most of its off now anyway!!! SHower is this weekend!!!

I switched over my big items to BBB. I personally like BBB better. But, I do have items on BRU.

I agree. I'm thinking about moving a lot over there as well.

I also like BBB better and I absolutely refused to register at BRU. I went in there several times to consider registering and just never got a good feel from them. I also registered at Amazon (free shipping on many items).

Re: Well I went to BBB and BRU....

I'm not registering at BRU - It doesn't matter if there are a million locations or not, if people are going to buy from your registry, they'll go to the store you're registered @ - Those who aren't registry buyers, will pick out what they want anyway ........KWIM?

No one complains when brides register @ Fortunoff.......it's not like there are SO many locations for that store either -

I'm going to BBB b/c like you said, I just like it SO much better and the return policy is reasonable -
