pack n play question
For those who plan to use a pack n play or for the btdt moms, I have a question.
In the bassinet part, are you supposed to use another mattress or something? It seems so flimsy. If not, do you use a sheet or are the sheets just meant for when the baby moves to the bottom part?
Sorry if this is a stupid question!

Re: pack n play question
I used to lay the cloth diapers down on it and change her that way.

I don't think you're supposed to use another mattress. As far as the sheets, I have no idea. I registered for pack 'n play sheets, but I'm not sure which part they're supposed to be used for.

Re: pack n play question
I just used a pack n play sheet the few times she went in there. Honestly I rarely used the bassinet portion - we had a bassinet for DD in our room and she hated the bassinet part of the pack n play.

Re: pack n play question
I use the bassinet portion everyday. I have the PNP sheet on it and another mattress pad on top of it to keep her warm and to catch spit up while she is sleeping. No need for another mattress... though it seems flimsy it is just fine for your LO!

Same here! Got a mattress protector (which has some extra padding) and put a sheet on it. We have the PNP in our living room and he naps in the bassinet part during the day, his regular bassinet at night.

Re: pack n play question
You use the mattress from the bottom part of the pack and play in the bassinet portion as well. The sheets are meant to be used when the "mattress" is in either position.

Me too! I use a sheet on the mattress pad and a muti-purpose water proof pad on top of the sheet. When I am eventually done with the bassinet part I bought the padded sheets for the crib part. However, DS doesn't sleep the bassinet but he is in there every morning for some play time.

Same here- it looked flimsy to me for some reason.
