Yay - but I LOVE what would normally be boys names for girls ........
(ie: LOVE James for a girl, DH isn't going for it)

You may be open minded about that as a girl's name but alot of people still consider that a boys name so your daughter may be teased.

My husband loves that name and so do I.
You know what I really do not think it is a good idea to get opinions on names YOU like because everyone will have different thoughts.
As long as you and hubby like it, that is all that matters.

Even though I am against people taking all the "good" boy names for girls  , I think this one will always safely stay a boys name. I still love it for a girl.

my nephew is a Dylan, and when we found out i was having a  my sister said, "i hate to say it, but you should name her Dylan" lol...i couldnt have two Dylans in the family, but i DO love it for a girl...
p.s..
my sister and i are both boy names, and weve never been teased...
ps#2,,,i LOVE James for a girl...my name is jaime and everyone calls me james anyway,

My cousin named his daughter Dylann.
Maybe he felt the name to change it because my brother is named Dylan.
