Re: Mommies of Girls: Strange Question
Its funny because I always seem to get the opposite- Didnt know gender w/ DS and don't with this pg either but I keep getting those comments " Bet you want a girl"- "Hope its a girl this timefor you..." People are ridiculous !

Re: Mommies of Girls: Strange Question
I got the opposite. When I was pregnant with , I had someone say to me, "Oh that stinks- I bet you really wanted a little girl". Ummmmm excuse me lady??? I would have been THRILLED either way. Now that I am expecting #2, I get the same stuff. "Well, maybe you'll get lucky and have a girl this time." Well, I will feel extremely lucky and blessed either way. My son is the greatest thing that ever happened to me, I can't imagine him being a girl. When I tell people I honostly do not care, and that I would be just as thrilled as the mother of 2 boys as if I had one of each they look at me like I have 8 heads. I think people need to mind their own business!!!

Re: Mommies of Girls: Strange Question
I have felt the exact opposite for each of my pregnancies. With my first DS, people were happy for me but the excitement was tempered for sure. With DS2, forget it, people practically came out and said, oh well, I'm so sorry you're having another boy.
This time, it's a girl and people are waaaay excited.
