High Chair Question

I live in a small apartment and was planning on getting a high chair that attaches onto a regular chair at our table...

I figure that is most convenient.

My friend said I should really get one that reclines since the baby will fall asleep in there...

We really don't have much space in the aprtment...

Re: High Chair Question

we're in a relatively small condo, so we registered for the Graco Contempo. Its a full size highchair, but when folded can fit between a fridge and wall. Its so tiny. Def. a space saver and actually will take up less room than the on the chair style ones

Fisher price makes a space saver chair that I got for DD - it does recline and you can put a smaller baby in it.

So did you keep it on one of your chairs at all times?

Was it convenient?

Didd your DD fall asleep in it? Is that something that is common?

Re: High Chair Question

No i don't i have a regular HC too. I got it b/c my family goes to their country club for holidays and since it gets really crowded they weren't allowing strollers and so I had no place to put her infant car seat - and she was too small for a regular HC at thanksgiving. You can keep it on a chair but I use mine in her play room for snacks. DD loves it and often naps in it. She even slept in it when she had the croup and her ped said she needed to sleep sitting up.

Re: High Chair Question

My DS is 18 months old and has never once fallen asleep in the highchair. I would not use that as a reason to get a full size one.

I totally agree. I wouldn't buy a highchair just so he can fall asleep in there. Your baby will have plenty of places to sleep.
