Jersey Girls??
Are there a bunch of us???
I grew up in Lindenhurst and moved to Jersey about 10 years ago....(got married on Long Island earlier this year too)....
I live in Somerset County...
I work in South Plainfield and Dave works in Raritan for Uneeda.

Yes, I'm originally from central NJ then lived outside of Philly in S Jersey then in Hoboken in N Jersey b4 I moved in with DH to Long Island... and I miss NJ. We're looking to move there in a year or two. You just get more property for your money and taxes are better.

OMG - we so love Hoboken!!! That's where dave's bachelor party was!!!! They also just so happen to have a Steelers bar and he's a HUGE Steelers fan!

That's right... I think I remember us talking about that. LOVE Hoboken!  I do miss living there. Sooo much to do, see, etc. I'd go jogging at the pier or sit outside a cafe for a drink with a friend or something.
Which bar was the Steeler's Bar?

Texas Arizona - the 'nj steelers' fan club watches games there....we've been there one time - you have to get there EARLY to grab a table...and Dave works on Sundays!

Great place... conveniently across from the path and great quesadillas. Yeah, most bars get packed on Sundays, weekends, happy hour... pretty much anytime, but the summer b/c everyone goes down the shore

Haven't chatted in a while. First of all CONGRATS!!! I think we might be the only Jersey girls here....I used to live in Hoboken too, I loved it. Most of our friends are still there, so we go there alot still.

I'm there all the time still visiting my friends. My roommate is still in our old apartment so it's sad to go and visit. WE had the best place over looking the city skyline.

I'm from Hoboken, NJ too. Grew up in the city, lived in Forest Hills for a few years before moving to Hoboken to be with the hubby.
Love the proximity of Hoboken to the city and the fact that it feels somewhat like living in a 6th city boro. It also has a vibe that reminds me abit of Brooklyn Heights.

Madisons - used to go there Tues night for half price martini
Sooo many more and I'm sure there's new ones since I left. I'm actually meeting some girl friends there in a couple of weeks for lunch and I'll tell them I'm prego

im a Jersey girl too!!
I was born and raised in Queens NY- never would have imagined that i would fall in love with NJ.
Right now we are in Kearny, NJ
dh's parent's have a house in belmar that we lived in... we go there on the weekends..
we'll prob. buy a house in NJ too. you def. get a lot more for your money here!
i love it NJ!

We live in Hoboken...
Both of us grew up on LI, and lived in Manhattan after college. After we got married, we bought a condo here-- wanting to be close to the city, but not be IN the city. When we buy a house though, we are going to move back to LI to be closer to our parents.
