Crib Toys, Rattles, Takealong Toys, etc.

Show me which ones you registered for!

I need to add a few to the ole registry and I have no clue what to pick. I know people will just buy some on their own, but I figured I would add some on there as well.

Thanks!

The lamaze toys are great! Any of them are good - some shake, make noise, different textures, colors etc.

DD had a few she really liked:

Best mobile - DD loved this one - we took the mobile off and left on the music portion she still turns it on now. A lot of people I know have this one or a similar one and love it too. It also fit onto our convertible crib when nothing else would.

A lot of people also swear by this - sleep sheep - it makes noises like ocean, rain etc.

DD loves these I attached them to her stroller or car seat when she was not in the car - she loved to touch them, look at them and later on teeth on them.

Feet rattles were another favorite of hers - but I was given a pair that were snug fit so it hard for her to pull them off - I haven't been able to find another pair like them. Most seem easy to pull off.

This was a big hit for DD -baby einstein baby neptune soothing seascapes- someone gave this to us as a gift and she STILL uses it go to sleep at night now. It plays a few classical songs and the fish swim around - the baby can change the song, lights, or make bubbles - she loved to watch it when she was a baby too.

We gave my nephew the turtle and he LOVED it immediately! My sister actually lost it a couple of weeks after he was born and he would flip! We ended up buying 2 more for him, one for her to keep in her diaper bag for when they were out and another to keep in the house, this way she would always have a back up.

I registered for and got some of the toys that clip on to the stroller, car seat, etc. I didn't do too many toys since I figured in teh beginning they are looking to interact with you and later on I can take them shopping and see what they respond to

The great thing about the lamaze is that they are small enough to leave in your bag and pull out if they get fussy to distract them - but they clip to anything from your stroller to your car seat when you dine out etc - I would get a couple of different ones and rotate them
