Anyone use a rodpocket with pinch pleat loopsI

I just bought rod pocket curtains at JCPenney, I love the color and texture, but was really looking for pinch pleat ones to use with those little loops. I got home and checked JCPenney,.com and in the picture, they used the loops with the same curtains. Will this really work?

I may be able to help you. Eons ago i worked at Curtains & home. I loved that store. Anyway, do you have a picture of the curtains?

First of all.. . they are beautiful!

And, yes, you can hang them with the rings. it may be difficult to get them to pleat the right way. you may want to measure how far apart you want to put the rings to create the right pleated look. a little bit of work, and you will get the look you want.

Post pics when you are done. i can't wait to see what color walls you have with these curtains.

Thanks! I'm going to try it out.

I love the color the curtains in the pic, but I bought the fawn color to go in the nursery.

Those aren't pinch pleats shown in the photo. It's just how the fabric is laying forward from weight inbetween each ring. If you were to stretch out the rings so that the panel was flat, the top would be flat as well, there wouldn't be any pleats.

You can do what's shown in the photo with hooks. You just have to measure your distance down for each hook and then do the math for how many rings/hooks you want across each panel. I had to do this for the panels in my DS's nursery and it sucked. Chat Icon

ETA: this is what it will look like at the top of the curtain with hooks/rings
