OMG I lucked out!!!! While I love all the OB's at the practice, Dr. Davenport was on call then.... nothing like having one of the top OB's in NYS in charge... (NY magazine does an annual poll of physicians asking them to rate their peers and who they would recommend to their family... and she's on the top of the list for obstetrics)
There's nothing more valuable than having complete faith in your physicians... both Dr. Davenport and Little Loaf's ped (Dr. Halegua) are golden.
oh, and for anyone going to SB hospital... never underestimate the comfort of having a level III NICU in the building. Scone had myconium in the amniotic fluid.... so when the little loaf came out of the oven, there was a NICU swat team was assembled and waiting to assess him and take care of virtually anything.
