Swollen Boobies-- Is the baby coming???
Hi,
I am almost 35 weeks. Have been getting very painful contractions. Today when I woke up my breasts are really big and swollen. Have not been this big or swollen the whole pregnancy, so I am assuming my milk is coming in. Is this a sign that the baby is coming SOON?? I mean sooner than 5 1/2 weeks?? or is it normal at this stage??

If you are having painful contractions, I would def. call your dr....have you tried timing them?

Are they radiating from the back to the front? Where are they? You should really try to time them.
Have you tried changing positions? Does this help to ease them?

Yes, they come from my side to the front. Coudl that mean something. I was 1 cm dilated about a week and a half ago. My Dr. is tring to get me to 35 weeks which is Wed. and I have an app't with him then.. Should I still call??

I honestly have no clue-- but, it sounds like it couldn't hurt to call your doc. You have nothing to lose-- better to call than to stress out by yourself.

As far as I know Braxton Hicks are not supposed to hurt so I would def. call my Dr. if I were you.

I would def call--especially if the dr is "trying" to get you to 35 weeks...there must be a reason that he thinks you may go early. Let us know
