Baby Monitor?

What kind of monitor are you registering for?

Video vs. regular?

What brand?

Re: Baby Monitor?

we registered for FisherPrice Private Connection.
Its a regular sound monitor. We didn't get video one because first it was more expensive, and second because we would have to get two of them - one for each crib. This monitor will pick up all the sound in the room.

Re: Baby Monitor?

we're in a small place... definitely no need for video....

we got a regular monitor with a built-in motion sensor... (bebesounds angelcare movement sensor with sound monitor) it senses the breathing movements of a baby so if the alarm doesn't go off, you know there is no chance of a SIDS incident Chat Icon

I've heard there are occassional false alarms, but IMO, I can handle those as long as when all is quiet, I don't have to worry and I can instead Chat Icon soundly.

as for the monitor part, it comes with one motion base that tucks under the mattress, and 2 monitors for sound....

Re: Baby Monitor?

I actually registered for two. I registered for the Summer video monitor, which I plan to use in a nursery. Once we're in a house, I plan to use the pack 'n play for naps, which will be on a different floor. I don't want to move the video monitor every time the baby takes a nap so I also registered for the Sony 900 MHZ monitor.
