need contractor referrals (or a how-to-manual)
this is my barn/shed/garage
I need to pop open the door/wall on the right side to accommodate garage doors. I also need to cement the floor inside.
the structure itself is 200 years old. it's VERY sound, but has an old style frame (balloon). I need someone smart, knowledgable and decently skilled.
My house is about 1.5 hours from Brooklyn.
I won't pay a travel fee...but I will provide meals.

We just started using this site for two projects. We haven't picked a vendor yet, but you get to read reviews about them and then set up appointments with them. I'm not sure if this service is in your area or not, but thought it might be worth the try. GL!
