Well..Rach wanted confessions??? I did the worst thing (by accident) tonight!
My heart is breaking right now.
Megan fell asleep really fast tonight since she didnt nap today. I was on the phone with my best friend gossiping. I came downstairs, put the monitor on and was chit chatting. Hung up, cleaned up a little, came online...something made me glance over at the monitor and I noticed the batteries died in it!! I jumped up, plugged the other one in and I heard these low sobs from Megans room. I ran upstairs and there she was curled up in a ball in the corner of her crib, sobbing little cries and trying to catch her breath!
She must have been crying for at least 20 minutes and I didnt hear a thing. I scooped her up and she didnt even say anything. She just hugged me and wouldnt let go. I kept apologizing to her and I started to cry. I feel so bad. She went right back down but was doing that catching her breath thing in her sleep..I feel like a piece of c rap!!!

I'm sure she is ok!!
We don't even use the monitor anymore and we have an ac on and unless he is screaming his face off, I can't hear him.
But he is always fine or still asleep when I go in there....

That would break my heart too, but in all fairness, she won't even rememebr it in the morning. It's certainly more painful for you then is was/is for her.

I hate that cry! Lily had a nightmare the other night and woke up screaming...she was crying like that for a few minutes while we held her....it's heartbreaking!

I did something similar with Ben not too long ago. I was vacuuming while he was napping and he normally sleeps right through it. He woke up and must have been crying for a while because his face was red and his shirt was wet with tears. It broke my heart. I don't think I put him down for about 20 minutes after that. He was fine a little while later though. I'm sure your little one was okay, too. Probably she was just scared and as soon as she saw you, she was fine again. I can imagine how you felt though.
