Update on my bloody eye
Ahhhh yes...it's me again. This may be the one and only time you ever see me on the pregnancy board. Once December comes, I think I'm done, I just really don't think I'm cut out for this...
Anyway, I went to the OB and told her what happened with my eye. Had an AWFUL headache on Friday night, flashing vision and everything. Went to sleep, felt much better after I woke up. DH told me my eye was "bloodshot"--I was in no way prepared to see that the outer corner of my left eye was bloody.
I was told that the migraine may have brought on the burst blood vessels, but that it was more likely due to stress. I am under strict orders to go to the ER if I get another headache like that.
Have I ever told you guys that I can't WAIT for this to be over????

OMG- I think you win the most awful pregancy ever You even trump my friend who had morning sickness so bad she carried baggies to our night classes and would puke all through class.

I'm sorry you're having a tough time. I know it all really Suckss right now but I promise when you hold your little girl you will completely be able to say it was all worth it.
While my pregnancy with Miranda wasn't nearly as bad as this one it was far from easy and I did it all again.

i think you should read the book " the secret"...
its a positive affirmation book that talks about talking yourself into a good place in life..
i know it sounds wishy washy, but im a firm believer in positive re inforcement..
ive been through alot too during my pregnancy, but theres no way i can dwell on it, it isnt good for you OR the baby..
im sure we could compare pregnancy war stories, but i like to look at these next 16 weeks that i have coming up, as preparation for the HARDEST job in the world, im a momy of an almost 10 year old..and TRUST me, mommyhood puts a crappy pregnancy to the test any day..
i dont wanna say "suck it up"...cause i dont mean it that way, but i do wanna gently kick you in the heiney to start MAKING yourself feel better ;)
please dont be offended, i just KNOW you can get through this!! And it WILL be worth it!

You sound like my mom. 
Honestly, I am trying to stay positive and remember what's coming at the end of all of this. *I* feel I've been doing a good job...but venting is the only thing that I find really gets it out of my system, you know? That's the way I have always been...tell someone else what's going on, it makes you feel better.
I feel quite confident that parenthood will be a whole other beast, and I know that...but my feeling is, as long as I'm not in physical pain the way I am now, I am up to the challenge.

I had a broken blood vessel in my eye a few weeks ago... as scary as they look, they are harmless. I assume mine was brought on by my fabulous headaches as well.
My mom gets chronic migraines and subsequently gets broken blood vessels in her eyes a lot.

THANK YOU...this makes me feel a LOT better!!! Every twinge I've had today, I've second-guessed it. You're right...they are scary looking.

hehehe, im sorry, maybe that was a lil "mommy-ish"..i just dont like to see anyone putting themselves through MORE then the physical part of it ya know?
I understand, i like to vent too..i just sometimes feel like if i try and put the bad stuff out of my mind, and pretend like it doesnt exist, it doesnt exist ;)

just think of how easy the first few months will feel for you after all you've gone through. when the rest of us are being tortured in the first weeks, you'll be sitting pretty thinking it isn't all that bad!!!!
