AHHH We just had a camelback cricket in our office
omgggg gross!!!
It jumps like 4 feet at a time....
(this was not the one but it looks exactl like this)

My DH had one attacking him at work the other day, he was in a basement and the cricket was jumping on him, then hitting the wall then jumping on him again, he said the thing was crazy--lol I would of passed out of that thing was jumping on me.....

We have them in our basement. They are scary looking.
Dumb though. My cat plays with them. They can jump far, but my cat can jump faster.

We had them in our basement - I never saw them but DH saw several - he is not afraid of bugs at all and I think they kind of terrified him a bit they were so big and fast. We haven't seen any more since we had the exterminators.

We call them SPOCKERS in our house!! My mother says they are a cross between a spider and a grasshopper (thus she named them Spockers)
I think they like the dampness of the unfinished basement and garage at my mothers.. I haven't been in the basement in YEARS!!
